Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator role is onsite in Catoosa, OK, with compensation not specified. Matrix Project Services develops estimates for industrial fabrication and construction work, including pressure vessels, pipe spools, piping systems, and structural steel. The estimator develops detailed, traceable cost estimates from project documents and partial information. The work supports complete, well-coordinated project proposals by evaluating scope, pricing, labor, equipment, schedule, and risk across multiple trades.

What you'll do

• Perform quantity take-offs and enter items into the standardized database
• solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• identify drawing deficiencies and develop associated pricing
• draft or edit scope clarifications
• prepare detailed fabrication estimates from complete or partial information
• coordinate trade scopes
• ensure estimates trace to source documents
• prepare historical cost bridging documents
• participate in constructability and cost-saving reviews
• estimate labor, staff, equipment, and facilities
• develop preliminary lifting plans and resource-loaded schedules
• assess project cash flow and risk contingency.
