Caregiver — Flexible Hours

Job overview

The Caregiver role is based on the road, serving clients in Charleston and surrounding service areas in West Virginia and Ohio; compensation is $13–$16 per hour, with additional shift differentials available. Visiting Angels helps seniors remain safely and comfortably in their homes while supporting dignity, independence, and quality of life. The caregiver provides non-medical assistance and companionship tailored to each client’s needs. The work supports seniors’ ability to remain at home and maintain independence through daily living help, household support, and reminders.

What you'll do

• Provide non-medical assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities
• offer companionship and emotional support
• assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and appointments
• provide medication reminders
• support dementia and Alzheimer’s care
• help clients maintain independence and quality of life.
