The Civil Engineer — Water Resources role is onsite in Savannah, GA, with a Monday–Thursday schedule of 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and Friday hours of 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. Compensation is not specified. The engineer designs and analyzes stormwater infrastructure and supports project delivery from technical modeling through permitting and coordination. The work contributes to community infrastructure by developing stormwater and water-quality solutions that meet project, regulatory, schedule, budget, and quality needs.

What you'll do

  • Prepare construction plans, contract documents, quantity takeoffs, and probable construction cost opinions
  • perform hydrologic, hydraulic, and water-quality analyses
  • design stormwater best management practices
  • prepare permit applications
  • develop hydrologic and hydraulic models, FEMA CLOMR/LOMR applications, technical exhibits, and drainage reports
  • use Civil 3D and water-resources modeling software
  • coordinate with clients, project managers, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
  • manage project tasks to scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
