What you'll do
- Review invoices and update inventory records
- conduct quality control and manage rejected or spoiled goods
- set prices, sales, and promotions to meet margin goals
- respond to product movement and replace slow-moving items
- maintain merchandising and stock levels
- conduct quarterly inventory counts
- answer customer questions and handle special orders
- and negotiate with suppliers, brokers, and sales representatives on price, terms, quality, and delivery.
