Executive Director, Girls on the Run Memphis

The Executive Director role is fully remote and based in Memphis, TN, with ongoing in-person and virtual community interactions and frequent local travel plus periodic out-of-state travel. Compensation is $75,000–$80,000 per year. Girls on the Run Memphis uses an experience-based curriculum that integrates running to support girls’ confidence, health, and potential. The director leads the council’s strategy, fundraising, operations, staff and volunteer leadership, and community presence. The role advances program access and organizational sustainability while building partnerships that help the council serve more girls and communities.

What you'll do

• Lead implementation of the strategic plan and develop a council growth plan
• build sustainable revenue through grants, donors, and sponsorships
• oversee staff and volunteer leadership
• manage financial, operational, and program reporting
• monitor key performance indicators
• oversee events and community engagement
• maintain relationships with the board, schools, families, volunteers, and community partners.
