What you'll do

• Assist survey crews with field surveying and construction layout
• hold rods, prisms, GPS equipment, and other measurement tools
• support topographic, boundary, as-built, and construction staking data collection
• help establish and recover control points and benchmarks
• transport, set up, and maintain equipment
• record field notes
• locate survey markers
• follow safety procedures
• support site preparation, cleanup, and quality control
• communicate with crew members.
