Job overview

The Home Care Caregiver role is based in Frankfort, KY, and surrounding communities. Pay is $16–$18 per hour. Senior Helpers Lexington provides home care intended to help clients maintain independence and receive assistance with daily living and household needs. The caregiver provides companionship and personal assistance tailored to each client’s assignment. The role includes documenting services, reporting changes in client condition, and following care plans and company procedures.

What you'll do

• Provide companionship and conversation
• assist with light housekeeping, household management, walking, eating, transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, and medication reminders
• help with errands and transportation using a personal vehicle
• prepare meals and do laundry
• monitor clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia
• document services and report significant changes.
