Job overview
Utility Battery Energy Storage Systems Technician II is an onsite role in Marana, AZ. Pay is $32–$38 per hour. NovaSource Power Services provides operations and maintenance and asset optimization services for renewable energy assets, including battery energy storage systems. The technician maintains and operates a utility-scale battery energy storage plant, monitoring operations and performing testing, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications. The work supports plant performance, equipment efficiency, and safe, reliable operations.
What you'll do
- Monitor plant operations through SCADA
- commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC and DC battery energy storage systems
- perform preventive maintenance
- assist with installations, quality inspections, and performance testing
- complete work orders and reports
- verify SCADA configuration
- follow safety, environmental, and lockout/tagout procedures
- maintain site housekeeping and vehicle safety standards.
