What you'll do

• Perform mammography examinations and general radiologic procedures
• operate X-ray equipment and produce diagnostic images
• review patient history and clinical data
• process mammographic images for radiologist interpretation
• explain procedures and educate patients about regular mammography
• position patients and use immobilization devices
• apply radiation protection techniques
• maintain records, logs, and referral forms
• clean and maintain equipment and examination areas
• complete required documentation and participate in continuing education and safety training.
