Special Education Teacher — Long Island

Job overview

The Special Education Teacher role is onsite in Brentwood, NY, with cases available in Suffolk and Nassau Counties; the work may take place in homes, daycare settings, preschools, clinics, and other community locations. Compensation is $50–$58 per hour. Achieve Beyond provides pediatric therapy and special education services to children and families. The teacher provides services and evaluations for children from birth through age 21, follows individualized therapy plans, works toward identified goals, documents progress, and prepares reports. The role also supports families and caregivers with intervention strategies to encourage participation and carryover.

• Provide pediatric services and/or evaluations to children from birth through age 21
