The Behavioral Health Technician / Mental Health Worker role is onsite in Los Angeles, California, serving residential treatment centers in the Encino and Tarzana area. Pay is $21 per hour. The position supports Montare Behavioral Health’s residential mental health treatment programs. This role provides direct client support and helps maintain smooth daily program operations as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Work includes client orientation, safety rounds, medication self-administration observation, group activities, crisis intervention, documentation, and support for treatment goals and independent living skills.

What you'll do

• Assist with client intakes and facility orientation
• conduct and document rounds
• observe and document medication self-administration
• support clients while maintaining boundaries
• accompany clients to offsite activities
• encourage attendance at groups and therapy
• facilitate assigned groups and activities
• review treatment goals and support access to community resources
• provide crisis intervention and teach independent living skills
• complete program, medication, shift, and incident documentation
• communicate observations to the treatment team
• maintain a clean, safe, compliant facility
• attend training and staff meetings.
