Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA)

Provides perioperative management of patients requiring anesthetized surgical and non-surgical procedures. Administers appropriate anesthetics in the framework of a written practice protocol. Familiar with anesthesia machines and related equipment. Assists in transport of patients, maintains patient records, participates in teaching activities and continuing education programs.
