Shuttle Driver at Westin LAX in Los Angeles, CA. This is an onsite, full-time position with a salary of $22.65 per hour plus tips, with a $1 shift differential for overnight work. This role is responsible for transporting guests to and/or from the hotel and local area in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner using safe driving practices.

What you'll do

• Transport guests to and/or from the hotel, hospital or casino and local area in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner using safe driving practices.
• Assist guests with luggage including delivery and pick up of guest luggage during guest arrival and departure.
• Maintain the vehicle activity and maintenance logs.
• Shuttle guests to appropriate places that are approved by manager and the client contact.
• Learn and remember pick-up and destination points.
• Know all property outlets, meeting rooms, amenities as well as main attractions in the area.
• Communicate by telephone, two-way radio and in person in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
• Acknowledge and greet guests within 30 seconds.
• Use guest last name at all times when appropriate.
• Maintain accuracy and composure while under pressure.
• Operate a vehicle that seats sixteen people or more.
• Inspect exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift.
• Monitor vehicle condition and record malfunctioning items or damage.
• Protect guest confidentiality.
• May not provide "lift" services or assistance to any hotel or hospital guest.
• Check wheelchairs for safe operation.
• Assist patrons with entering and exiting the vehicle.
• May be required to use specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience

At least three years of commercial driving experience or nine (9) years of driving experience as a licensed driver
