Surgical Dental Assistant

What you'll do

• Review and update patient health histories
• assist during oral and IV sedation procedures and surgical interventions
• set up and break down operating rooms
• sterilize and organize instruments
• take intraoral scans or impressions and pour models as needed
• explain treatment plans and options
• take X-rays and 3-D scans
• manage supplies and inventory
• coordinate continuing-care, treatment, and postoperative appointments with the front office
• maintain patient confidentiality.
