What you'll do

• Perform resident skin assessments, obtain treatment orders, administer ordered treatments, and document care
• coordinate weekly wound rounds and care-plan reviews
• monitor wound healing and recommend treatment changes
• maintain pressure-ulcer and skin-alteration records and measurements
• monitor preventive interventions
• educate nursing staff on skin-care practices and documentation
• coordinate wound-care supplies
• support case reviews
• monitor regulations and practices
• provide reports to the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Committee.
