What you'll do

• Assist Veterans with frame selection and eyewear recommendations
• take pupillary distance, segment-height, and base-curve measurements
• verify prescriptions provided by VA optometry or ophthalmology clinics
• fit, adjust, and dispense eyeglasses
• perform minor repairs
• document care in CPRS/EHR systems
• comply with VA, HIPAA, Joint Commission, and CMS standards
• maintain optical equipment
• complete required VA training and credentialing.

Why this role
