The Finance and Accounting Intern is an onsite role based in Arlington, VA. The stipend is $5,500 for part-time participants. This position supports the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) through the Koch Internship Program (KIP). The role exists to provide hands-on experience in non-profit accounting. The intern contributes to the organization by assisting with general ledger maintenance, meeting registration processes, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

What you'll do

• Assist with daily accounting activities.
• Maintain the general ledger.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Maintain detailed records.
• Support the Chief Financial Officer with budget operations.
