Job overview

The Home-Based Therapist role is field-based and onsite in families’ homes and the community, with a base in Columbus or Whiteland, IN, serving Bartholomew and Johnson counties. Annual compensation is $59,400. Firefly Children & Family Alliance works to improve the lives of Indiana children, families, and adults. The therapist provides family-focused counseling and therapeutic interventions to support family functioning, adoption, foster care, and family preservation goals, coordinating with schools and other institutions involved with clients.

What you'll do

• Provide counseling to individuals, families, and groups involved in adoption, foster care, or family preservation
• guide clients through counseling methods toward client-set goals
• maintain professional therapeutic standards
• work with schools, the Department of Child Services, and other institutions
• complete monthly reports and document family contacts.
