Water Restoration Technician

Job overview

The Water Restoration Technician role is onsite in Hoquiam, WA. Pay is $20–$26 per hour. ServiceMaster Restore performs water restoration work for residential and commercial customers. The technician monitors and completes restoration jobs, including drying, demolition, and water damage repair, while documenting work for company processes and insurance reimbursement. The role also explains restoration steps to customers and helps ensure jobs are completed to quality standards.

What you'll do

• Retrieve work orders, check routes, and load equipment and supplies
• explain restoration processes and next steps to customers
• complete assigned jobs according to company processes and quality standards
• perform water extraction, contents pack-out, removal of unsalvageable materials, and light construction or demolition as directed
• handle equipment and report malfunctions
• monitor water jobs and adjust drying plans based on meter readings
• inspect completed jobs and obtain customer signatures
• resolve customer issues and communicate job activity
• prepare documentation and photos for insurance reimbursement.
