Job overview

The Registered Dietitian role is onsite in Hyannis, MA, with compensation of $115,000–$125,000 per year. The Pavilion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and skilled nursing services to residents. This role supports residents’ nutrition and hydration needs through assessments, individualized care plans, ongoing evaluation, and collaboration with the center’s care team. It also contributes to safe and appropriate food service through consultation on menus, therapeutic diets, and related procedures.

What you'll do

• Complete initial, quarterly, interim, and annual nutrition assessments
• complete MDSs and CAAs
• develop and review individualized nutrition care plans
• identify residents at nutritional risk and recommend interventions
• collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and center team members
• analyze weight trends and calorie counts
• oversee tube-feeding, TPN, and PPN documentation and administration
• monitor intake and output
• educate patients and families
• review meal production and service, and conduct meal-service rounds and sanitation inspections.
