The CNC Turret Lathe Operator — 2nd Shift role is onsite in Batavia, NY. Compensation is $23–$43 per hour, with a $3 per hour shift differential. What you'll do

• Read blueprints, specifications, manuals, and work instructions
• set up workpieces and determine tooling
• set up, adjust, program, and operate CNC turret lathes and engine lathes
• inspect machined parts and perform manual deburring and polishing
• conduct in-process inspections using measuring instruments
• follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• provide guidance to assisting employees and participate in training as required
• communicate improvement suggestions and work with engineers and team members on process improvements.

Why this role

Second shift is four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with a $3 per hour shift differential. Requires 2+ years of CNC turret lathe experience and technical trades school in machining or metal trades, plus high school diploma or GED. National or minimal travel may be required.
