What you'll do

• Administer chemotherapy and other IV infusion therapies according to oncology protocols
• monitor patients for adverse reactions, side effects, and changes in condition
• educate patients and families about treatment plans, medication side effects, and self-care
• coordinate individualized care with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams
• document treatments, patient responses, and nursing assessments in the EMR
• manage PICCs, ports, and central lines
• follow OSHA, ONS, and facility standards for chemotherapy handling and disposal.
