Working with senior engineers, network and cloud teams, and government stakeholders, the role helps engineer, implement, administer, and improve Palo Alto security platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Its purpose is to maintain reliable security controls aligned with enterprise requirements, federal cybersecurity frameworks, and Zero Trust objectives.

What you'll do

• Engineer, implement, and administer Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls
• develop and maintain security policies and profiles
• troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and policy issues
• support Panorama device and policy management
• administer and troubleshoot Prisma Access and GlobalProtect
• monitor threat-prevention logs and support incident response
• assist with Prisma Cloud and Cortex XDR monitoring and alert triage
• prepare change requests, implementation plans, test plans, and rollback documentation.
