The machinist sets up and operates CNC and other machines to produce parts to specification, inspecting work, maintaining equipment, and supporting safe, quality-focused production.

What you'll do

• Load fixtures, tools, accessories, and programs
• load and unload parts
• inspect work during production
• measure and mark materials
• monitor machine operation and make adjustments
• verify finished parts against specifications
• complete maintenance records and production paperwork
• maintain a safe, clean work area.
