Local CDL Route Driver for Waste Connections in Elko, NV. This is an onsite position with a salary of $29.00 per hour. Waste Connections is a leading provider of solid waste management services.

What you'll do

• Safely operate collection equipment for the efficient and effective collection of solid waste, and delivering those materials to a designated disposal facility.
• Complete required administrative paperwork by use of an On-Board-Computer to maintain accurate company records and customer accounts.
• Work independently and deliver excellence in customer service.
• May be cross-trained in Automated Side Load Garbage Trucks, Front Load Garbage Trucks, and Roll Off Trucks.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles.
• Ability to work a physically demanding job.
• Loading and unloading cans with no helpers.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments in English.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

Valid Class B or A CDL with air brakes endorsement, Clean driving record, Must pass criminal background check, drug panel screening and MVR.
