Working under the Lead Teacher and Preschool Director, the assistant helps plan and deliver activities that support children’s social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development. The role also contributes to a safe, engaging learning environment and maintains records and family relationships that support children’s growth.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with planning and implementing daily activities
• maintain records of children’s progress
• help review development and prepare written growth plans
• observe children and use observations to facilitate learning
• support a safe indoor and outdoor environment
• assist with routine care, reports, parent involvement activities, and staff orientation and training.
