Clinical Neuropsychologist

Job overview

The Clinical Neuropsychologist role is onsite in Downers Grove, IL, with daily travel to multiple assignments or locations; compensation is $75–$90 per hour. BrightSpring Health Services supports patient care through counseling, psychological assessment, and neuropsychological services. The neuropsychologist evaluates patients’ needs, provides cognitive and neuropsychological feedback to patients, families, and the treatment team, and contributes to rehabilitation planning. The role supports patient progress and community reintegration through counseling, treatment documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and education.

What you'll do

• Perform periodic formal assessments and evaluations
• set measurable objectives with the treatment team
• provide feedback on cognitive and neuropsychological rehabilitation and test results
• provide counseling, psychotherapy, and education to patients and families
• design community reintegration activities
• document treatment progress and adjust plans as needed
• report patient changes
• participate in case conferences and family education meetings
• develop, teach, and assess treatment plans.

Why this role

Requires a PhD or PsyD in Psychology or an accredited Neuropsychology training program, professional license or certification as required, two years of postdoctoral Clinical Neuropsychology training, three years of relevant clinical experience generally required, and current BLS, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
