The Cook – Senior Living Dining role is onsite in Racine, WI, with pay of $18–$21 per hour. The schedule includes weekdays from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and every other weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Compensation is $18–$21 per hour. The cook supports Harvest Home Senior Living’s dining program and its residents. The cook prepares and serves meals according to menus, recipes, meal times, and residents’ dietary requirements. The role also supports a safe, clean dining and kitchen environment and records food temperatures while following infection-control procedures.

What you'll do

• Review residents’ dietary restrictions with the Dining Service Coordinator and nursing staff
• prepare and serve meals according to menus, recipes, and meal times
• involve residents in meal preparation as they are able and desire
• maintain clean dining and kitchen areas
• record food temperatures
• follow infection-control procedures
• report suspected abuse as required.
