What you'll do

• Assist the surgeon(s) by providing basic instrumentation and sterile techniques for procedures performed in the Operating Room and provide patient care as well as mentorship/training of surgical technologists in the clinical setting.
• The Specialty technologist is also responsible for the care, handling and maintenance of surgical equipment, instrumentation and supply management.
• Responsible for populating the STS Data base or collecting other Perioperative data for performance improvement.
