Prep Cook

The Prep Cook role is onsite in Peoria, AZ. Compensation is $17–$21 per hour. The cook supports the kitchen team at Serra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse, which serves an authentic Brazilian churrascaria dining experience. The role prepares and portions ingredients to support consistent, timely kitchen service. By maintaining food quality, safe handling, and an organized workstation, the prep cook helps line cooks and the wider kitchen team during busy service periods.

What you'll do

• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and chef specifications
• wash, chop, slice, and dice vegetables, meats, and other food items
• assist with Brazilian dishes and churrasco-style proteins
• maintain a clean, organized, sanitary workstation
• monitor and rotate food stock
• follow food safety and handling guidelines
• support line cooks and kitchen staff during high-volume service.

Why this role
