Senior Accountant

Job overview

The Senior Accountant role is based in McLean, VA, with remote or hybrid arrangements available based on candidate experience. Compensation is $95,000–$120,000 per year. What you'll do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, financial statements, and management reports
• support indirect-rate calculations, forecasts, billing rates, incurred-cost submissions, audits, contract setup, labor distribution, revenue recognition, billing, budgeting, and process improvements
• maintain compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS, policies, and controls
• mentor junior staff and support cross-functional teams.
