Supervising Dental Assistant is an onsite, full-time role in Amsterdam, NY, scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Compensation is $22–$29.50 per hour. The position supports Dentist and Hygienist services at Liberty ARC’s Health Center. The role oversees day-to-day dental-assistant operations while supporting clinical care, infection control, and efficient workflow. It helps maintain safe, compliant dental services through staff supervision, patient support, and accurate equipment and supply records.

What you'll do

• Direct daily dental-assistant operations and schedule assignments or backup support
• supervise direct reports and complete annual performance evaluations
• assist dentists and hygienists during clinical services
• order and track supplies
• ensure sterilization, OSHA, and safety protocols are followed
• provide patient care instructions as directed
• prepare and clean operatories and process instruments
• maintain x-ray, laboratory, and utility areas
• complete equipment checks and compliance logs.
