Lead Technician, Structured Cabling

The Lead Technician, Structured Cabling role is onsite in Charlotte, NC. Pay is $36–$38 per hour. The technician supports E2 Optics’ technology integration work in data center and other advanced environments. The role leads small installation teams while completing structured cabling installation, testing, and troubleshooting. It contributes to project delivery by coordinating jobsite work, training technicians, and maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

What you'll do

• Install structured cabling systems
• read and interpret floorplans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets
• set up copper and fiber testers
• terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot fiber and copper installations
• lead teams of three to five technicians and installers
• train and develop team members
• oversee jobsite organization and housekeeping
• follow company and client safety policies
• use Microsoft Office tools.
