HVAC Project Manager

The HVAC Project Manager role is onsite in Aurora, CO. Compensation is $130,000–$180,000 per year. The position supports commercial and industrial HVAC and mechanical construction projects, including piping, refrigeration, and building automation systems. The project manager leads delivery from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and internal teams. The role helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget while managing risks, resolving jobsite challenges, and overseeing commissioning and startup.

What you'll do

• Manage HVAC and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• oversee budgets, cost control, forecasting, and financial performance
• develop and maintain project schedules
• coordinate HVAC, piping, controls, and related scopes
• lead subcontractor procurement and contract administration
• collaborate with engineering, BIM/VDC, and fabrication teams
• support design-build and design-assist efforts
• coordinate with field superintendents
• manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs
• coordinate equipment and material procurement
• identify and address project risks
• lead project meetings
• oversee commissioning, startup, and closeout.

Why this role
