The Commercial and Industrial Door Technician – Lead and Apprentice roles are onsite field positions serving Northeast Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and Metro Detroit. Pay is $18–$35 per hour. Talent Edge Recruiting is hiring for established commercial door and loading dock companies in those regions. Technicians install, service, and troubleshoot commercial doors and loading dock equipment at customer sites. Lead technicians guide crews and mentor apprentices, while apprentice technicians learn the trade hands-on; together, the roles support installation, service, and preventive maintenance work.

What you'll do

• Install and service commercial overhead, high-speed, and rolling doors and loading dock equipment
• perform new construction, service-call, and preventive-maintenance work
• work in two-person crews using a company vehicle
• lead technicians complete work tickets on a tablet and mentor apprentices
• apprentice technicians ride with lead technicians and learn the trade
• follow requirements for driving, lifting, outdoor work, and working at heights.
