What you'll do

• Perform duties within the applicable state Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties
• attend to patient and parent concerns
• sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• clean operatories according to infection-control guidelines
• prepare patients and assist the dentist
• take radiographs and intraoral pictures
• record charting and dentist notes as directed
• take and understand basic pediatric vital signs
• provide oral health instructions as directed
• maintain equipment and comply with regulations.
