The Tax Lead keeps tax engagements organized and moving to completion by managing client information, deadlines, team coordination, correspondence, and follow-up while escalating technical questions to subject-matter experts when appropriate.

What you'll do

• Manage engagement deadlines and project status
• organize client intake and follow up for required information
• update teams on status and next steps
• respond to client or bank requests for tax returns and K-1s
• serve as primary client contact
• route work to internal team members
• draft, review, and follow up on correspondence with tax authorities
• address client questions and coordinate tax planning or consulting needs with subject-matter experts.
