This position supports the Space Systems Business Area at Leidos, focusing on the execution of OPIR Space Payload programs for the Space Development Agency. This role serves as the primary communication link between program leadership and the manufacturing floor. The engineer will monitor production flow, track hardware status, and ensure that engineering direction is accurately implemented during the assembly, integration, and testing of complex space payloads.

What you'll do

• Provide daily hardware status updates
• maintain real-time awareness of flight hardware
• monitor production flow
• track program-level changes
• coordinate with Manufacturing and Engineering
• manage NCR and MRB processes
• support critical test events
• assist in Pre-Ship Review preparation
• document lessons learned.
