Certified Medical Assistant, Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine

The Certified Medical Assistant, Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine role is onsite in Cary, NC. Pay is $19–$23 per hour. The independent practice provides preventive care, education, and illness management for children and young adults from birth through age 21. The assistant supports providers and clinical staff during visits and procedures, helping deliver patient-centered care while maintaining clinical documentation and safety practices. The schedule is a four-day work week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.; weekend opportunities are also available.

What you'll do

• Assist providers during patient visits and procedures
• administer therapeutic injections and vaccines by IM, SQ, and intradermal routes per protocol
• perform or assist with vision and hearing screenings, lab draws, and milestone assessments
• provide clinical coverage when provider nursing staff is unavailable
• assist with flu-clinic administration
• monitor and document refrigerator and freezer temperatures twice daily
• perform in-house laboratory tests to specifications.
