The Medical Assistant — Overnight Shift role is onsite in Wasilla, AK, with Monday–Friday overnight hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Compensation is not specified. Hope Valley Health & Wellness provides mental health and addiction treatment using evidence-based care and a person-centered approach. The role supports clients during overnight treatment by monitoring safety, withdrawal symptoms, and vital signs; documenting observations; and assisting with medication routines and client education in coordination with the treatment team.

What you'll do

• Conduct safety checks
• monitor and report withdrawal symptoms and significant changes
• record vital signs
• chart medication observations, shift notes, and DAPs in the EHR
• educate clients on medication, substance use, healthy lifestyles, and sleep routines
• observe client self-administration during medication pass
• report medication errors
• complete medication counts and assist with medication destruction
• complete incident reports as needed
• and transport clients or pick up medication as needed.
