Recertification Specialist

The Recertification Specialist role is onsite in Roxbury, MA. Pay is $26 per hour, and the position is full-time at 40 hours per week. The specialist manages annual and interim recertifications, verifies household information, and maintains compliance with affordable housing requirements. What you'll do

• Manage annual and interim recertifications from start to finish
• process income, asset, employment, and third-party verifications
• maintain compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and other affordable housing regulations
• communicate documentation requirements and deadlines to residents
• maintain organized resident and applicant files
• monitor recertification schedules, lease renewals, vacancies, and compliance deadlines
• assist with applicant processing, waitlists, occupancy tracking, rent collection, notices, and administrative tasks
• support resident relations
• partner with property managers, occupancy specialists, and site teams
• prepare for and support audits, compliance reviews, and file inspections.

Why this role
