What you'll do

• Collect blood and other specimens safely and accurately from patients of all ages
• label, document, and prepare specimens for testing
• complete routine and STAT collections
• obtain patient consent when required
• file and deliver laboratory reports
• maintain phlebotomy supplies and inventory across hospital departments
• follow safety, infection control, and compliance standards
• provide patient service and communication.
