Tile Installer / Skilled Construction Technician

The Tile Installer / Skilled Construction Technician role is onsite in Columbia, TN, with pay of $28–$40 per hour based on experience. Charis Construction is hiring for residential and commercial tile installation and related construction work. The technician installs and repairs tile while supporting remodeling and other assigned job-site tasks. The role contributes through accurate layouts, careful preparation and finishing, quality craftsmanship, and adherence to safety standards.

What you'll do

• Measure and mark surfaces
• read plans and project specifications
• install floor and wall tile, backsplashes, showers, tubs, and custom features
• prepare and waterproof surfaces
• cut and set tile
• apply mortar, grout, adhesives, and sealants
• repair or replace tile
• assist with demolition, remodeling, punch-list work, cleanup, and assigned construction tasks
• follow safety guidelines.
