What you'll do

• Answer inbound calls and respond to email and portal inquiries about medical records requests, order status, and billing
• verify identity and authorization before discussing or releasing protected health information
• explain request processes, fees, and timelines
• document interactions in the case management or CRM system
• route complex inquiries
• assist with authorization forms
• meet call-quality and customer-satisfaction targets
• prepare and review records and imaging media for mailing
• verify required certification and notarization
• package records securely, prepare postage and labels, log outgoing items, escalate incomplete requests, and monitor mail room supplies.
