What you'll do

• Process parts according to blueprints and written or verbal specifications
• set up, adjust, and operate machine tools
• select and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials
• inspect and maintain cutting tools
• set machining controls for speed, feed, and coolant
• monitor operations and correct malfunctions or out-of-tolerance processing
• clean and maintain tooling and parts
• edit programs
• maintain a safe, clean work area.
