Registered Nurse — Nursing Services

The Registered Nurse role is onsite in Utica, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Compensation is $40–$44 per hour, plus a $4,000 sign-on bonus within the first year. The Arc Oneida-Lewis supports people with developmental disabilities and their families through a range of community services. The agency RN oversees nursing services at program sites and implements medical policies and procedures in accordance with agency and OPWDD regulations. The role monitors medication safety, manages health incidents, maintains documentation, and provides clinical oversight and direction to nursing and support staff.

What you'll do

• Monitor medication safety, storage, and administration by AMAP personnel
• manage accidents and illnesses and make referrals or recommendations
• maintain required electronic and paper documentation
• provide clinical nursing oversight to LPNs and AMAP staff
• provide medical oversight directives to Direct Support Professionals.
