Electrical Prefabrication Technician

Job overview

The Electrical Prefabrication Technician role is onsite at Dubak Electrical’s manufacturing plant in La Grange Park, IL; compensation is $18–$25 per hour. The prefab shop builds electrical components used in field installations. The technician assembles and prepares electrical components in a controlled shop environment, supporting field installation work through accurate, safe, and timely prefabrication.

What you'll do

• Perform wire splicing and connections
• assemble outlet boxes and stub-ups
• prepare power, lighting, and equipment whips
• modify and prepare light fixtures
• prefabricate panelboards
• bend and assemble simple conduit
• thread pipe
• use hand tools and light-duty machinery
• follow production processes and safety procedures.
