Property Management Intern, Summer 2027

Job overview

The Property Management Intern role is onsite in Greenville, SC, for a 10-week summer 2027 program of 30–40 hours per week. Compensation is $15–$16 per hour. NHE manages conventional and affordable apartment communities and provides property management services. The intern rotates across business units and works with community managers and office staff. The program provides practical exposure to property operations, leasing, resident service, marketing, and development support while applying business, management, or marketing studies.

What you'll do

• Assist with rent, deposits, fees, and revenue collection
• review accounts receivable reports and send late notices
• inspect communities and identify property needs
• help verify maintenance documentation
• support resident retention and events
• assist with administrative functions and resident concerns
• support leasing, sales, outreach marketing, and lead follow-up
• tour apartments with prospective residents
• assist with development-site research, due diligence, and tax credit applications
• prepare and present project findings or recommendations as assigned.
