The Light Truck Driver role is onsite in Ann Arbor, MI. Compensation is $23.98–$28.03 per hour. The Washtenaw County Road Commission maintains trunkline and local roads and rights-of-way for the community. The driver operates trucks and motorized equipment while performing manual road-maintenance work. The role supports safe, timely repair and upkeep through winter operations, roadway work, traffic control, equipment care, and project recordkeeping.

What you'll do

• Operate trucks and equipment for winter maintenance
• perform manual road work including ditch digging, culvert work, debris removal, and pavement preparation
• regulate traffic and set up temporary signs and barriers
• haul materials and transport equipment
• remove or trim trees and brush
• inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment
• perform crack sealing
• keep equipment clean and stocked
• record project materials, time, and equipment.
