Executive Researcher

Job overview

The Executive Researcher role is hybrid and hub-based, with eligible hubs including Sunnyvale, CA; New York, NY; Livingston, NJ; and Bellevue, WA. The base salary range is $150,000–$190,000 per year. The role supports CoreWeave's Executive Recruiting team, which conducts senior leadership searches for the AI cloud company. The researcher builds the research and strategic sourcing practice that powers executive searches. Through talent mapping, market intelligence, and executive-ready research, the role helps recruiters and senior leaders make informed decisions and run searches for critical leadership positions.

What you'll do

• Lead primary research for VP+, C-level, and Principal+ searches, including name generation, talent mapping, market landscaping, org charting, and competitive intelligence
• evaluate and integrate AI sourcing, talent intelligence, and automation tools
• produce target company lists, diverse longlists, candidate dossiers, compensation benchmarks, calibration packs, and market briefs
• partner with recruiters and senior leaders on search strategy
• maintain talent maps for critical functions
• present market intelligence and sourcing data to hiring leaders.

Why this role

Requires 6–10+ years of executive search research, talent intelligence, or executive sourcing experience supporting senior-level hiring. Technical-domain search experience and fluency with AI sourcing tools are sought. Prior retained-search firm, AI infrastructure, or board-level research experience is a bonus.
